A 24 year old American was picked up and detained by the police early Monday morning at a restaurant/bar in Center City.
According to police the man will be charged with owning and displaying white tube socks at a drinking establishment.
"This is outrageous!" stated the owner of the bar, Gino Oliveri.

Mr Oliveri stated that he has recently seen other young men attempting to enter his business with white tube socks.
